Getting ready to go back

So I am heading back to Niger again this November.  My blog last year seemed to be a good way to keep people updated, so I am going to try to do the same thing this year.  If you need a refresher - last year's blog is at johniniger2016.blogspot.com

I had to renew my passport as it was to expire soon after I return from Niger.  I was a bit concerned because I have to send the new one off to the US to get my visa for Niger.  I just got the new passport last week, and sent it of to Washington DC.  Apparently it is in the Niger consulate getting stamped, so hopefully I will have it back before I leave.

There has been lots of preparation for going back for a month.  The flights are booked, I have an appointment with the travel doctor next week, and the packing will start soon.  I am hoping to share some pictures with you like I did last year so stay tuned.

Romans 8:28New International Version (NIV)

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
